Position Overview This dynamic individual will be responsible for identifying and developing product opportunities to satisfy customer needs involving soft cooler, bags and related lifestyle items. This position will partner with be responsible to drive and coordinate with related departments and team to ensure on time delivery as well as maximizes company sales opportunities while aligning with the customer’s brand guidelines or expectations. 1. Ensure products align with overall company strategy and maintain relevance with each customers/ brand/ market. 2. Responsible to support on sales presentations to create high-level, visually impactful PowerPoint presentations, with design, trend and color presentation boards, and research data. 3. Good sense of trend/fashion and be able to leverage into product innovation. 4. Wide knowledge on consumer goods. 5. Innovative thinking and problem solving. 6. Knowledgeable with consumer insight. 7. Product planning: identify product positioning and able to leverage product portfolio with design to help winning business 8. New Product development: based on consumer need and market situation, foresee 1-3 year product needs and take the lead of product development 9. Product Lifecycle Management: based on product performance, evaluate on the product lifecycle stage and correspondingly adjust product position, product lifting or propose exit plan. Responsibilities 1. Research on competitors, consumer lifestyle, and product trends in key markets and quarterly sharing with customers / internal teams. 2. Identify immediate, short- and long-term product opportunities and compose local market product mapping and strategy. 3. Partner with sales team to optimized cross customer /region /brand needs and leverage internal resources to meet expected delivery in timely manner. 4. Create compelling product presentations for business units to increase business. 5. 30-50% travel for market and factory visit Proficiencies 1. Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person and over the phone. 2. Solid word processing and computer database skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. 3. Good personal skills with the ability to effectively work with individuals and groups at all organization levels; ability to work independently and as part of a team. 4. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints. 5. Education and Experience 1. 3+ year relevant experience in soft goods, cut & sew, braces, and accessories, multi-market experience is a plus. 2. Familiar with the testing and compliance of soft goods. Familiar with relevant supply chain resource is a plus. 3. 3+ year merchandising & product management focus experience with internationally recognized brands. 4. Fashion, design, graphics work knowledge a plus. 5. Experienced with retail product development. 6. English and Mandarin Chinese language proficiency.
